HELP ME GATHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY (MD) IN BEARDED DRAGONS!
Dear Friends and Followers,
I need your HELP!
Until more veterinarians and biologists start to study the incidence of Muscular Dystrophy in captive bearded dragons, we won't make any progress on figuring out what is causing this and why it's becoming more common.
So in order to help convince the vet world to take this problem seriously, I'd like to collect as much data as I can about MD beardies.
That's where you come in.
I created a quick, 7 question survey for owners of MD dragons to fill out. Will you please fill out the survey once for every beardie you've had (whether they are alive or not).
PLEASE share this link too so we can get as many people to reply as possible. The more data I can collect, the easier it will be to show that this is a legitimate problem that needs more attention in the scientific world.
Thank you, Sarah
When you rescue a bearded dragon who appears to be very bad off, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you don't rush with its recovery. It took a long time for the beardie to get sick and it will take a long time to get it healthy again.
NEVER IMMEDIATELY FEED A STARVING OR SICK BEARDED DRAGON INSECTS!! EVER!!
